GETTING STARTED

Karaoke is perfect for; Birthday parties, retirement parties, anniversaries, company parties, weddings, picnics, reunions, house warming, block parties, family fun nights, fund raisers and just about any other celebration you can think of.

Watch your guests become singing sensations, add fun to your party or event, build company morale with a Karaoke party.  Karaoke is a great way to liven up any event.

We all like to sing.  We tend to sing in the car, in the shower and so on, but the feeling that you get singing in a public place, knowing that everybody is watching you, is very different.  Karaoke is always a "coming out" of sorts.  Singing takes your troubles away, reduces stress and is relaxing.  You could say it is great for your health and very addictive.

HINTS & TIPS

Tip: To encourage guests to sing, play "silly songs" that all the guests can sing together while seated.  This will probably encourage some to get up and sing when they feel comfortable.  And, most importantly praise those who have the courage to get up and sing no matter how good or bad.  You might also consider having all the Boys or all the Girls come up and sing together.

TIP: Give prizes to all participants.

TIP: Set out a wacky clothes box and let everyone dress themselves up.

TIP: Everyone typically really wants to sing, but most are scared to death of looking stupid.  Karaoke will draw people in if the guest can sing only when they are comfortable.  They need a safe place where they will not be scolded or criticized for not singing or for not being perfect when singing.  It is up to the host to stop any heckling or harassment before it even begins.

TIP: Video tape the performances and show it at the end of the party
